Claire Welch

– Operations Leader –

Claire graduated from The University of South Carolina with a degree in Business Management. After graduating she decided to stay in Columbia where she managed a large retail store. She recently married and moved back to her hometown of Seneca SC with her husband and their two dogs.

Trevor Kinnard

– Construction Manager –

Trevor has over 20 years of experience with irrigation, owning his own irrigation and landscape lighting company for several years before coming to work at Zone 7.  He currently manages and trains all of our crews. He is a liaison between customers and their designers, ensuring that Zone 7’s standard of quality  is met.

Ellen Rogers

– Nursery Manager –

Ellen is a native of Oconee County and grew up learning about plants in her mother’s garden at home. She attended Clemson University and earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and a minor in Horticulture. She has enjoyed working in the nursery since 2011 and loves being able to meet new people and learn about plants every day. She continues to research new varieties of plants as well as common pests and diseases to assist customers accurately in the nursery.

Tabitha Beach

– Purchasing Manager –

Tabitha has lived in Oconee County for 17 years.  She has been part of the Zone 7 family for over five years. At Zone 7 she handles all of our purchasing, vendor relations, and billing. She enjoys visiting vendors, researching new and unique items for Zone 7 to carry  and provide to our customers.

Megan Gillespie

– Landscape Designer –

As a landscape designer, Megan creates beautiful and functional landscapes using unique plant selections and stylish design features. Her designs focus on the way people use and connect with their immediate environment. Her main interests include native landscapes, natural features, sustainable landscaping, and outdoor living. She obtained a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from Clemson University and continues to pursue innovative ideas and education through additional training and research, involvement in Zone 7’s seasonal seminars, and personal gardening experiences. Her previous experience in retail sales makes her an asset to nursery sales and providing excellent customer service. She enjoys meeting new people and creating lasting relationships with her customers.
